Kindergarten-2nd Grade

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
The Inspire Health Foundation, the Community Health Center, and Greenbush are partnering for Spring Break 2025 to engage your child(ren) in fun, educational, hands-on learning opportunities all about the human body! We will create models and conduct experiments to discover the inner workings of the different parts of our bodies such as the skeleton, heart, lungs, digestive system, and brain. Kids will also learn about careers dedicated to caring for the health of these systems from CHC/SEK staff like dietitians, respiratory therapists, and nurses. Join us as we build our understanding of the human body!

Brain Power

The brain is a powerful muscle that controls our entire body. But what is it? What is it made of? How does it tell the rest of our body what to do? The Inspire Health Foundation, the Community Health Center, and Greenbush are partnering together for Spring Break 2025 to lead your middle schooler(s) through a series of activities that will build and test their brain power! Kids will also learn about careers dedicated to caring for the health of these systems from CHC/SEK staff like dietitians, respiratory therapists, and nurses. We will discover the parts of the brain, and what they control, dissect sheep brains, test reaction times, and much more!
