Building In-House Experts

Earn Greenbush Micro-Credentials and share your expertise with your school.

Greenbush Micro-Credential IconGreenbush is dedicated to providing the resources educators need to grow in their professional lives, year after year. To that end, we've developed a new program that aims to develop in-district leaders on a variety of hot educational topics.

Individuals participating in any of the five tracks within the "Building In-House Experts" program will attend a series of focused professional learning events leading to a Greenbush Micro-Credential. Those who earn these credentials are certified by our experts to be leaders within their districts to lead meetings or professional development events, and serve as model classrooms. All Greenbush Micro-Credentials qualify for undergraduate credit; the Teacher Leader Cadre is offered for graduate level credit.

Look below for information and registration links for each track. If you would like to know more, please reach out to Jennifer Hanni, Director of School Improvement.

Teacher Leader Cadre, or TLC, is a special cadre of teachers that meet monthly to learn strategies to hone their leadership skills. This series of professional learning is aligned to the NEA teacher leader standards. At the end of the year, teachers will have the skills and confidence to more effectively lead collaborative team meetings, professional development in your district and/ or formally or informally mentor other teachers. All participants are nominated by an administrator in their district in order to participate. *Graduate credit available through Pittsburg State University.
