What are you doing this summer? Welcome to Greenbush Summer Camp!
We’re going to miss our on-site campers this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t camp digitally! Greenbush is hosting FREE virtual summer camps with a Passport to Learning. Campers will be given the opportunity to explore hobbies, earn badges, and learn valuable skills that inspire creativity!
About Our Camps
Using our unique combination of facilities, including a cutting-edge science center, world-class astrophysical observatory, and a camp and retreat center, Greenbush offers camp learning experiences unavailable anywhere else. We are able to offer these experiences at a price well below cost thanks to the donors who contribute each year to our educational foundation, The Learning Tree Institute at Greenbush. Our goal is to ensure dynamic learning opportunities are affordable and accessible.
We break our camp sessions into two age groups: [completed] 1st-3rd grade and [completed] 4th - 8th grade.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
10:00am: 1st – 3rd Live Themed Camp Session
1:00pm: 4th – 8th Live Themed Camp Session
AND, similar to our camps in years past, we have themes to round out your summer with a variety of topics and activities!
- June 22 – June 26: The Observer Badge
- July 6 - July 10: The Traveler Badge
- July 13 - July 17: The Creator Badge
- July 20 - July 24: The Adventurer Badge
- July 27 - July 31: The Entrepreneur Badge
Campers of every age can enjoy the classic moments of summer camp. On Tuesday evenings, Cabin Time gives your child the chance to hang out with their counselors and fellow campers. We’ll play games, learn about each other, and enjoy the company of new friends. Thursday evenings, All Camp Activities invites campers (and their families!) to join us in the events that make camp, well, camp! Campfire, songs, pillow forts, stories and more.

Passport and Badges
Please join us for our live sessions to interact with our summer camp staff as well as other campers. Each themed week will have a corresponding challenge.
*Complete the challenge, submit it through the Google Form, and earn the badge for your passport! To receive a badge, all requirements and corresponding Google Form must be completed by July 1st.
You do not need to attend the live sessions to receive a badge. If you miss a day, just watch our recorded sessions, located on our website, and complete the badge requirements from there. We look forward to seeing you at camp!
Each registered camper will receive a free, virtual passport and badges via email, or you can upgrade to a physical passport and badges for a small fee during the enrollment process. All passports and badges will be sent to you by the end of July.
Did you miss one of our camp dates? Don’t worry! You can always watch (or re-watch) our archived camp sessions.
