Fab Lab ICC Camps

Offered in partnership with the Fab Lab at Independence Community College, these boot camps provide hands-on experience with tools used by today’s thinkers, makers and engineers. Participants will also learn how to turn a brilliant idea into a viable business model.

Design It, Build It, Take It Home | June 4-7 & July 9-12 (two sessions)
This is a beginning-level camp for students in grades 4 through high school who are interested in innovation. Students will have access to cutting-edge tools for design, experimentation, problem solving, and making custom artwork, led by Greenbush staff.


Jr. Entrepreneurship | June 11-14 & July 16-19 (two sessions)
This is an intermediate-level camp for students in grades 4 through high school who are interested in innovation. Students will have access to cutting edge tools for design, experimentation, problem solving, and making custom artwork. Students will develop a marketing plan and create a one-of-a-kind product.


Robotics Camp | June 18-21 & July 23-26 (two sessions)
Campers in grades 4 through 12 will program an EV3 Mindstorm robot to solve real world problems related to hydrodynamics in this friendly, competitive format.  Campers will compete in teams to see whose robot can complete the most missions through friendly “coopertition.” With an emphasis on gracious professionalism, all students are guaranteed to learn and have a good time!
